Decided to upload this version here because I kinda like it better than the comic version ;).
So what did you think of the MLP season 2 finale? c:
The finale had its flaws, to be sure…the dialogue wasn’t as smart as it usually is, and the storyline felt more Disney-esque than anything.
I did love Chrysalis and the changelings’ design though, and Cadence was cute too. The “perfect day” aria was nice, but that being said, it just added to the overall disney-feel of the finale. I also liked that they shoehorned Luna in there, even though when her sister needed help she was nowhere to be found X3!
Overall, I have to say that although I wasn’t disappointed, I was kind of expecting better. Winter Wrap Up did just fine and it was very original and entertaining. A Canterlot Wedding just didn’t feel as original and fun to me.
Hi, I was wondering how you get your lighting the way you do. I was looking through your work of shaded and lighted drawings and tried to figure out for a while of studying how you get the colors to mix well with the shading?
What I do is to base color the character the color they’re supposed to be, then duplicate the base layer, set that new layer to Multiply, and fill it with a darker version of the ambient color in the room. Finally, I use Overlay and color dodge layers on top of that multiply layer to add lighting and stuff. This strategy varies from image to image but that’s basically how I do it :3.

Thank you. Thank you. I know most people really do mean well but i feel like artists are sometimes seen as pets or entertainers. We are people with ( mostly) grown up duties to take care of and lives outside of work ( again, kinda.. haha) …it doesnt mean we dont appreciate when someone has kind words or wants to be our pal.
Be aware of feeling irrationally entitled to another person’s time or trying to control their behavior and think about why you have those feelings. Have you met this person IRL? Are you projecting insecurities or a bad day onto a stranger? Or does not replying really make someone bad and worthy of scorn? I think we all kind of go through this stage in one way or another… but you don’t have to stay stuck like this! :)
Please don’t judge all “popular” artists so quickly, because most will do you the same courtesy.
Artists are human, too, after all.
Had to break my “no reblogs” rule, cause this is something that legitimately stresses me out.

I would like a commission, but do I have to have a FA account? I’m looking at the commission que list and everyone has one. Also, I’ve asked questions before but for some reason, you never answered them.

No, you don’t have to have an FA account to get a commission, but to be honest I usually only announce open slots on my Furaffinity and my Tumblr page. The slots fill up pretty quick so while it’s not necessary to have an FA account, it’s certainly a good idea. As primitive and nearly unusable as the site is, it’s still the best furry traffic generator out there, and it will probably remain that way for the forseeable future.
If I haven’t answered your questions before it’s probably because I’ve either already answered the specific question, or I simply didn’t bother to for whatever reason. Don’t take it as anything personal, but questions from anons usually don’t get answered because they look like questions from Formspring in my inbox…and those get insta-deleted.
